At Fabi Accounting Department Services, our mission is to empower small and medium-sized businesses by offering a comprehensive accounting department experience. Our journey began in 2009 when Isagani and Maita first arrived in Canada. They took on the challenge of preparing their tax returns manually, gaining invaluable insights into the Canadian tax system. This experience laid the foundation for their deep understanding of personal income taxation in Canada. With newfound knowledge, they purchased tax software the following year and offered to assist friends with their taxes. This marked the birth of Fabi Tax. As demand grew, they decided to further their expertise by enrolling in a personal income tax class.

Recognizing the potential of year-round accounting services, they expanded their offerings to include bookkeeping. In 2017, Isagani left his job as a Business Auditor in the Ministry of Finance to dedicate himself fully to the business. A year later, Maita followed suit, leaving her corporate job to join Isagani full time. 

Since then, Fabi Accounting Department Services has continued to flourish.

Isagani's journey is one that embodies dedication and a passion for continuous growth. As a CPA, he held significant managerial roles within a group of companies in the Philippines before setting his sights on a new horizon, Canada, in 2009. In his pursuit of excellence, he faced the challenge that his designation was not recognized in his new home. Undeterred, Isagani embarked on a transformative path, completing the Strategic Leadership Program to obtain his Certified Management Accountant Designation (CMA) in 2014. That very year, he achieved the remarkable milestone of becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) as Canada integrated various accounting designations. This journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to learning and his relentless desire to leverage the skills honed in the Philippines.

Beyond the realm of numbers and spreadsheets, Isagani's heart is deeply rooted in helping clients not just achieve financial success but to flourish and expand. His dedication extends to the community as well, where he has served as a Past-President of the Filipino-Canadian Association of Saskatoon. Isagani is also recognized as a host on Pinoy Channel, a Shaw Cable TV show, and a contributing editor of the Saskatoon Asian Newsweek. His benevolence further shines through his regular contributions as a blood donor.

When he's not immersed in the world of finance and community service, Isagani finds joy in a work/life balance that many aspire to attain. Together with his wife, Maita, and their son, RJ, they relish precious family moments. It's this harmonious blend of professional excellence, community engagement, and cherished family life that defines Isagani's remarkable journey.

Maita is the backbone of our company, ensuring that our operations run seamlessly and efficiently. Her role extends far beyond office management; she's also our go-to IT expert.

With a wealth of experience in office administration, Maita has honed her skills to perfection. She's a touch-typing virtuoso and has crafted highly effective filing systems that guarantee your documents are just a click away. No office machine is a mystery to her – she's both an operator and troubleshooter.

Her portfolio includes diverse industries such as Manufacturing, Service, Retail, Education, and Technology.

A proud alumna of Xavier University - Ateneo De Cagayan, her academic foundation complements her practical proficiency. Her adeptness in general accounting and finesse in financial statements preparation reflect a commitment to delivering meticulous and accurate results.

With a five-year tenure as an Account Manager, she has not only displayed leadership but has also contributed strategically to the success and growth of the organizations she has been associated with. Currently holding the position of an Accounting Analyst, she continues to bring her wealth of experience to the forefront of financial operations.

Beyond her professional achievements, she finds fulfillment in personal connections. A dedicated Vice President of a book club, she embraces her role in fostering a love for literature and community engagement. Her quest for variety extends to trying different coffee shops, showcasing her zest for life outside the world of numbers.
